Change Arrival at Location to Classic Guilin Day Tour

The Jinkeng Rice Terraces Hiking Day Tour will commence by meeting our team at your Guilin Hotel lobby. The meeting time range will be advised the night beforehand as it depends upon the number of other tour participants and each tour participants’ hotel location.

Once all tour participants have been collected from their corresponding hotels, you’ll depart to the Longji Rice Terraces. Normally, it takes between 2 – 2.5 x hours to travel from Guilin to Huangluo Yao Village but it’s dependent upon traffic on the day. You would expect to arrive into Huangluo Yao Village in the late morning and after arriving, explore the village before settling in to taste a local lunch (meal included in pricing).

After lunch, you’ll travel a short distance to Dazhai Village. At Dazhai, guests have the option to either take the chairlift (additional fee) from Dazhai Village to one of the scenic viewpoints or to simply explore the rice terraces on foot/hiking. During the afternoon, explore the rice terraces based upon each person’s preferences and interests – you can hike along the trails, explore the different villages and embrace the rural scenery.

In the late afternoon, depart from Dazhai Village and return to Guilin City (approx.2.5 x hours) where you will be dropped off at your hotel (either before or after other tour participants) to conclude the tour.
